If you ask anyone in the wedding and events industries (including stationery brands like us), it’s clear that 2023 & 2024 are shaping up to be a super busy years!

At Sea and Paper, we know signage and stationery play an important role in your big day, so we’re committed to booking only a limited number of stationary clients each month. This ensures we deliver the highest quality products and most attentive customer service — and it means you must book in early to secure your spot.

Which stationery items must be booked in ahead of time?

  • Wedding invitations, including details cards, RSVP cards and embellishments
  • On the day stationery, including welcome signs, seating charts, place cards, menus, table numbers and bar menus
  • Hire products, available in Melbourne only

How to book a limited spot for wedding stationery  

As soon as you lock in the date of your wedding or event, it’s time to book in for your stationery items!

If you haven’t chosen your stationery yet, or even figured out which type to order, don’t stress! We can still take your booking today. You only have to provide us with your delivery month — that is, the month you would like to receive your finished stationery, so we know when to deliver to you. After placing a $75.00 deposit (which will be applied to your final order total when you’ve made your stationery choices), your stationery date will be locked in!

For design decisions, book an event stationery consultation 

With so many wedding and event-related decisions to make… decision fatigue can feel overwhelming! Since we offer so many customisable stationery options, you can sit down with our design team to help you make design decisions for your event.

For those in Melbourne and surrounds, we invite you to join us for a free of charge 45-minute consultation, available every weekday and selected Saturdays. In these consultations, you will sit down with a member of our design team to go through your colours, designs and stationery items of choice. We will consider your ideal colour palette, font styles, and stationery items as we develop a stationery plan that best meets your budget. You will leave the consultation confident in your choices, and we will send you home with samples to keep as a reference.

If you can’t attend an in-person consultation, you can order invitation sample packs through our website.

Stationery that does not require booking

We also offer a range of stationery items available through our usual custom process, which can be purchased directly through our website (or via email). We recommend allowing a few weeks for decision making and proof approvals. Once we receive your final go-ahead, our processing times are as follows.

The following stationary items do not need to be booked in:

  • Save The Dates. Production time is 5-9 business days from proof approval.
  • Engagement Invitations. Production time is 5-9 business days from proof approval.
  • Wishing Wells. Production time is 5-10 business days from proof approval.
  • Welcome Signs. Production time is 5-9 business days from proof approval.
  • Seating Charts. Production time is 5-9 business days from proof approval.
